Digestive and Topical Crossover Materia Medica
90 minutes
Some of the actions of our top skin herbs, including wound healing, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic properties, are also equally useful for treating the upper GI, the stomach and small intestine. Learn materia medica for conditions such as gastritis, enteritis, ulcers, general inflammation, SIBO, dysbiosis, and leaky gut syndrome. We describe the uses of ten topical herbs for the GI tract. In addition, a number of herbs that are pigeon-holed as internal medicine are extremely powerful topical remedies for wounds, infections, and inflammation. We describe topical uses for Echinacea, Baptisia, and Thuja.
