The pathophysiology of food allergies and intolerance is reviewed. Methods for identifying food allergies and intolerances, assessing their contribution to the overall symptom-picture in chronic disease, and herbal treatments for the digestive tract during and after their withdrawal. Multiple case-studies of chronic disease illustrating the course of identification, withdrawal, and treatment will be presented.
